god damn.

i wanna send a memo out to all the other hospitals in macomb county
that says...STOP FUCKING CLOSING YOUR ER. god damn.
we were the only ER open in macomb county AGAIN...
its terrrrrrrrrrible at work. theres 2 patients in ER waiting to go to ICU which
they can't because its full, same with the rest of the hospital. ER was packed tonight,
there were actually patients in the hallway cuz there were no more treatment rooms
available. and transport was fucking busy as hell. i alone did 17 moves between 6-11, which
my average is usually about 9 at most. and from 2:30 - 6 i did 7 moves which was okay, but
they were all really crappy moves. so let see 17 + 7 = 24 moves when usually on afternoons
i get maybe 15. grrrrrr. and i get to go back and work afternoons tomorrow too. YIPPEE FUCKING
SKIPPEE.

ok well that was my rant...im off to do laundry now... at 11:39 at night. woo hoo.
my life is sooo awsome. =\
on the bright side...i get to work with <3him<3 tomorrow.

im sad.

my cartilage piercing was finally not infected or painful so i changed the earring a couple of days ago,
well now i have to let it close up. its gotten so infected i have an abscess where its pierced. its been
bleeding for the past 20 minutes now and it hurts like hell. i have to call and go to the doctors tomorrow.
im scared. it already hurts like hell and now they're probably going to have to use a needle to relive the
pressure and drain the fluid. ouch thats gonna hurt. my mom was just touching it and i was in tears.
FUCK CLAIRES AND THEIR SHITTY EARRINGS. i swear thats why this happend. next time im going
to a tattoo place and getting it done by someone who knows what they're doing. god, thats $35 i wasted
and will never get back.

god so i might have to miss school again tomorrow. cuz i have to go to work to pick up kirks prescription and
drop one off, and while im there im going "shopping" in the supply closet on one of the floors cuz my mom needs
something, then i have to get my moms script and take it to the lab for her and now i have to go to the doctors/a promt care.

grrrrrr. life sucks sometimes (or all the time).

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. ok so just to state it one more time.

i have a HUGE crush on this guy at work. and tonight made that crush grow even more!!!

ok so im going to tell you all what happend even though most of you probably dont care...but im bored so yeah...

i got a call for a CT going back up to the floor which he had taken down earlier, well he told me that the patient had
definetly soiled themselves and was completely unable to move so she had to be pulled from the stretcher to the bed
well i was NOT thrilled about this. well a minute later he got a call for an xray coming down and he said that he would trade with me
cuz the xray would be easier, which i was just like awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. lol. so that was nice.
then he got a move around 10:30 and waited to do it and i told him he better hurry cuz we got off at 11 and i hate walking out to the
parking garage to myself. so he finally went and did it and he came back and we walked out together and he asked where i parked,
so i told him i parked on 3 and that i was too damn tired to take the stairs, so he got on the elevator with me when he always takes the stairs.
so i dont know i though that was nice, cuz he seriously ALWAYS takes the stairs.

god i hate having huge crushes like this, cuz when something happens to end it its just a huge dissapointment.
and hes sooo nice and sweet and cute. =( <3

this sucks.

ok im going to bed its 11:54 and i gotta get up at 5 cuz i get to go back to that hell hole called MCRMC tomorrow
morning and work 7a-3:30pm.

wow. i kinda forgot i had one of these.

not much to update with...school and work, work and school.

next month i start on my midnight shifts at work...ewwww.
that means i work from 10:30pm-7am, BY MYSELF.
we run with one transporter on midnights and on thursdays
that lucky bitch is me. =(

i have a huuuuuuuuuuuge crush on someone at work.
pretty sure he doenst like me. =( story of my life.
well who would like fat/ugly me. thats my view on it.
yes i know im negative. but it works for me.

anywho. thats all for now. i gots a busy day tomorrow,
including work @ 2:30.

ok so i havent used this in a loooooong time, and this will probably be the only entry for quite some time. i started school again and whenever im not at school im at work. but i do have a funny story to tell anyone who is reading this/anyone who gives a damn. i was officially initiated into transport by the afternoon shift guys. so for the afternoon shift after the dispatcher leaves we all get pagers and the different departments call the operator and she pages us with their extension and we call and get the move blah blah blah. well one afternoon i got a page and called it back and on the other end was another transporter,dave, and he thought i was todd...well he asked if i was free for now and i said i was but then he said nevermind and that he was going to wait for todd, well i told him that i was clear and that i would help him, so he told me that he had a green room (morgue) that he needed help with and told me to meet him in the transport office. so i get there and he hands me a pair of gloves and tells me that we have to stack, which is where we put the bodies already in the morgue on this cart that is like a "bunk-bed" cart. so we go and we do that and i turned my back for a second and the next thing i know i hear this loud thud. i look over at dave and he looks freaked out, so i look on the ground and i see one of the body bags on the ground and all i hear is dave saying oh shit. so dave asked if i would help him put it back on the cart and i told him i would well we get ready to pick it up and the next thing i know is the body bag on top of the cart sits up and i started to freak out, well it was todd in that bag and then i look on the ground and the body bag starts moving so i freak out more and then it gets up and starts dancing, well it was wesley in that body bag. i was soooooo fucking pissed off, but now that i look back on it, its fricken hillarious. but they kind of traumatized me cuz i had to do another green room like a week later with this girl katie and my hands would not stop shaking, even though i knew it wasnt going to be todd or wesley in the bag i just was kinda freaked still from their "initiation". welp, thats my story. i have tons more, maybe ill update with more if anyone cares.

omg. work is a bitch. it has been insane lately to the point where we're doing back to back moves all day and we aren't getting our breaks til the end of the shift. im off til friday but i have to go in tomorrow and talk to my boss about my school schedule which is not going to make her happy. omg i love love love the people i work with (well most of them). like i said in my other entry...cute guys, i love it. lol. everyone has been really nice, but i still dont really fit in with them.

omg. transport is so easy, yet so hard. i just have a hard time remembering where everything is, cuz as a sitter i was only ever on the floors, as a transporter i need to know where o.r. is and where xray is and everything else. plus you have to know how to unhook everything and work the beds and all that and its kinda hard but like i said its easy at the same time. lord what a long day though, i worked from 9-5:30 which was torture cuz im so blasted tired right now, but i did make $88 today so thats good...thats like 2 days worth of sitting right there. i have to go back tomorrow and do the same 9-5:30 shift again...ugh. the guy training me today was really cute, taken, but cute. really annoying though. everybody is really nice, and of course im the youngest one in the group and they all recognize me from sitting and like to point it out to me. man there are some seriously good looking guys that work transport. :-) thats good. all the people that do sitting are like 60 year old women. alright well i gotta do some laundry.

good lord im happy cuz i just figured out something...

ok now this has never happend but lets pretend it will.

as a SITTER,

in one day full shift (8 hours) @ the base pay of $8 = $64 x 1 week (5 days) = 320 times 4 weeks a month = 1280

as a TRANSPORTER

in one day full shift (8 hours) @ the base pay of $11 = 88 x 1 week (5 days) = 440 times 4 weeks a month = 1760

good lord thats a difference of $ 480 a month...that is if i were to ever get 5 days a week
as a sitter im lucky if i get 30 hours a MONTH...thats crap, the manager of transport told me that
she has a couple of contingent people and they get plenty of hours in, which is good.

YAY!!! happy heather. im sooo excited to start wednesday...i dont even care that i have to miss
my class on wednesday to work and because of that my grade will drop. im just happy to be making some
real money. of course now i won't have much of a life, but thats okay cuz there are some pretty hott
transport guys that i won't mind spending my time with. lol :-)

wow am i happy.

i now have 2 jobs...im both a transporter and a patient sitter!!! yay. so i get $11 base rate for transport and my $8 base rate for sitting, plus i can make alot of overtime easily!!! score!

im off to go get new scrubs in the transporter color!!! yay.

what the hell was i thinking?????.....

so work called at like 11 this morning and pretty much begged me to come in today. well i told them that it was my brothers birthday so i kinda have things to do. well they just continued to beg cuz i guess they're really desperate and so i said i would come in 11p to 3a. then after i hung up with them i realized that i have school tomorrow morning at 9am til about noon then im supposed to go to lunch with my mom and kirk and then i'm also signed up to work tomorrow 3p to 11p. when the hell am i supposed to sleep? ok so if i work til 3am then i wont get home til about 3:45 or 4am then i have to leave for school around 8:15 so i guess i could get like 4 hours of sleep there. then i get out at noon and im going to lunch and then i have to leave for work around 2. so theres no time to sleep there. then i have to sit there again for 8 more hours. ugh. the only good thing about this is if i can pull it off i'll get 3 hours overtime pluse the one hour of overtime i made last night when they effed up. so now for the past 2 days im looking at 8 x 8= 64, 8 + 4 = 12 so 64 + 12 = 76 x 1.25 = 95, thats for monday. then tuseday/ wednesday would be 8 x 4 = 24 x 1. 50 = 36, then 8 x 8 = 64, 12 x 3 = 36 so 64 + 36 = 100 so in 3 days i will have made about 195, it usually takes me like a week to make that much.

i hope i can stay awake. the most i've ever stayed awake was like 34 hours, this will be close to 40 if i dont get to take a nap between.

I SMELL A SICK DAY COMING ON. LOL.

this MIGHT be my new car!!!

a 2006 ford fusion. my mom said she's thinking of BUYING me a NEW car, since my car is dying rapidly.
according to 2 mechanics my car will die fairly soon and without warning, so this might put my greatest fear
into action, which is..., my car breaking down while im driving. especially if its on M59 in like the middle lane or
something. that would SUCK.

alrighty...thats it. ummm more update tomorrow, but im exhausted now and even though i need the money
desperatly, i kinda hope i don't have to work tomorrow.

omg i hurt.

i STARTED to clean my room today, ummmm yeah.
it dosent look like i did much, in fact it looks worse than before, but i did alot.
i just can't do anymore today cuz im exhausted and in pain from moving
very large heavy pieces of furniture by myself.
tonight i can't watch tv in my room cuz its unplugged and sitting
in the hallway along with one of my dressers.
i have to clean my bed off and put sheets on it
before i go to sleep.
my moms gonna be super pissed cuz i cant continue
the multiday process tomorrow cuz im not going to be home
itll have to wait til saturday, and if its not done by
then...it'll have to wait til monday cuz sunday is shannons
wedding shower...

O WELL!

im exhausted so im going to go lay on the couch.

omg. i had the worst fucking easter in the world. i got to work from 3-11:30 and i had the worst patient ever. he didnt listen to a word i said and ended up pulling one of his iv's out and squirting me with saline. that wasnt fun. then i spent the night at rachels and didnt get much sleep. went to the mall yesterday and applied for the victoria's secret credit card, but probably didnt get it cuz i used my debit card and i only have $4 in my checking account. then i went to work and i was going to leave at 7 and take a sick day cuz i had a massive headache from my lack of sleep, but then i ended up being cancelled at 6:30 so i didnt have to take a sick day. today i took an a&p test. i got a 30% on the lab test. i dont know what i did on lecture but im sure it was better than a 30. i hate the lab parts, they're really gay and always have trick questions. im pretty much failing a&p and im gonna retake it in the fall. i stillll havent gotten the rest of my scholarship money from macomb so i cant pay for the class im taking over the summer. so now my mom has to pay for it. its $215 for one fucking 3 credit class...thats bull! i got an invitation to my future cousins wedding shower so now i have to get her a gift which is gonna cost me a shit load cuz shes registered at bed bath and beyond, crate & barrel (which i have never heard of) and marshall fields. gahhhhhh. and i need new clothes...i need money. period. end of story.

omfg.
could today get any worse. and its only 8:33. so my work called at 5 fucking 30 this morning to see if and when i could work today. so since i was half awake i told them i could work the afternoon shift (3-11:30) without thinking. im pissed now. not only do i have to go in to work, but i have to miss CSI for the second week in a row. im very angry that my vcr doesnt record anymore. i am soooooooooooo fucking tired i wanst able to fall back asleep after they woke me up so i've just been laying in my bed since then. im actually sooo tired that im dizzy. that happens to me alot, hopefully me drinking starbucks coffee wont make that worse.
yesterday was a kinda bad day too...but interesting
i ran out of gas when i got to work. so after my shift i had to sit for an hour and wait for kirk to come and bring me the lawnmowr gas can which had enough to get me a 1/4 tank and then he followed me to the gas station. i cannot believe that happend, i usually don't let it drop below 1/4 tank, sometimes even a 1/2 tank. but i didnt have money to fill it up so i let it go and i thought i could make it. i guess i was wrong.
one good thing about yesterday is the cute transport guy was my replacement and so i got to talk to him for a bit. lol im such a geek.

ok thats it, im gonna go watch some tv and then meet amanda at starbucks.
